These terms apply when you use givejuju.com or buy, receive or use a Juju gift pass. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Juju is run by Juju Limited (祝祝有限公司), 21/F CMA Building, 64 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong ("Juju", "we", "us"). Contact us at mika@givejuju.com.
1. What Juju does
Juju lets you buy gift passes for experiences run by independent studios and businesses in Hong Kong ("partners"). We sell the gift pass and deliver it. The partner provides the experience.
2. Who can buy
You must be 18 or over to buy a gift pass. Juju currently operates in Hong Kong only, and all prices are in Hong Kong dollars (HK$).
3. Buying a gift pass
- Each order is for one experience for one recipient.
- Prices are set by our partners and shown on the experience page at the time you order.
- You pay in full when you order. Payments are processed securely by Airwallex.
- Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds. We'll send you a confirmation by email.
4. Delivering the gift
- You can have the gift pass sent by WhatsApp or email, straight away or on a date and time you choose (Hong Kong time). Or you can send it yourself.
- Please check the recipient's details carefully. We're not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect contact details, but we'll help you fix them.
- If you choose WhatsApp delivery, you confirm that the recipient knows you and is happy to receive the gift on WhatsApp.
- You're responsible for the personal message you write. We may decline to send messages that are unlawful, abusive or offensive.
5. Validity
- A gift pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on the gift pass.
- A gift pass can be used once, for the experience shown on it.
- Gift passes cannot be exchanged for cash, resold or used for a different experience.
- Unused gift passes expire at the end of the validity period and can't be refunded.
6. Booking and using your gift
- The recipient books directly with the partner, using the "Book now" button on the gift pass and sharing the gift code.
- All bookings depend on the partner's availability, so we recommend booking early.
- The partner's own booking rules apply, including cancellation, late arrival, age and health requirements. You'll find a link to these on the gift pass.
- If you miss a booking or cancel late, the partner's rules apply and the gift pass may count as used.
- After the experience, the partner confirms with us that the gift pass has been used.
7. Refunds
- You can cancel for a full refund within 7 days of purchase, as long as the gift pass hasn't been used. Email mika@givejuju.com with your order details. We'll refund your original payment method, and the gift pass will be cancelled.
- After 7 days, gift passes are non-refundable, except as set out below or where the law requires otherwise.
8. If a partner can't provide the experience
If a partner has to cancel a confirmed booking, they'll offer the recipient another date.
If a partner can no longer provide the experience at all, or the experience is significantly different from its description, contact us. We'll work with you to arrange an alternative experience, credit or a refund, as is reasonable in the circumstances.
9. Responsibility for experiences
- Partners are responsible for running their experiences safely and with reasonable care.
- Please follow the partner's instructions and let them know about any health conditions or needs before you attend.
- Juju is not responsible for the partner's acts or omissions. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Hong Kong law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that gift pass.
10. Using our website
- Please use givejuju.com lawfully and don't attempt to interfere with it, misuse gift codes or make fraudulent orders.
- We may cancel orders or gift passes we reasonably believe are fraudulent.
- The content on our website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to Juju or our partners and may not be copied without permission.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction.
